At Image International we are deservedly proud of our outstanding reputation for training. We have our own separate Trainind Academy occupying the first floor level of the salon, utilised by young people across the region. We also train staff from other salons within the area and, of course, own own staff regularly attend sessions at The Academy.

The main purpose of our Academy is to facilitate our students with the correct amenities to receive the best possible training and understanding in our industry. This makes the transition from assistant to Image International Stylist much easier as they are already enthused with our systems and philosophies.

We are proud to be members of the Three Six Five organisation which works with some of the leading salons across the UK. Offering expert training in all areas of hairdressing and customer service. Three Six Five and TIGI trainers help ensure that we have a team of highly skilled and professional staff.

Our graduate stylists are always looking for models and training appointments, which are available at reduced prices, are currently offered every Monday and Tuesday between 1pm and 6pm.

Students:
We educate our students in NVQ level 2 and 3 from both our Spading and Boston salons and we also deliver NVQ level 1 to pupils from the local schools who attend our academy as part of thier curriculum. Our education team is made up of long standing team members who have completed or are working towards their A1 Assessors Award. Our students are fully supervised until able to carry out a service alone following a successful assessment. Please understand that for appointments we cannot guarantee that you will see a particular student as it is a training environment. Clients requiring certain services will be allocated to the student requiring a specific assessment to ensure we do not hold them back from achieving their goals. Appointments:
Appointments are available on a Monday & Tuesday. Timings depend on the lesson plan for the day. In view of this, we do suggest that you book in advance to avoid disappointment. Please ensure you allow plenty of time as our students can take up to four hours for a standard colour and cutting appointment, also with extremely long hair it could take even longer. We are currently not able to offer late night or weekend bookings, although as our second year students approach the end of their apprenticeship, they do offer appointments at 25% off our stylist prices. Please ask at reception for current information.

Colour:
When being consulted as to which colours you would like putting in your hair and the technique to be used, please do be 100% sure before you allow the service to continue as we are not able to re-colour hair in the Academy free of charge. This is reflected in our prices and re-colours will be charged at £10 per colour used.
