COLOURED HAIR CARE
- Ideally wait a couple of days to shampoo your hair and, for the first few
washes,
use an old towel to dry the hair particularly with darker colours.
- Do not swim in a chlorinated pool for at least two weeks. After that,
always
wash your hair after swimming with a chlorine removing shampoo.
- Try to avoid exposing hair to harsh sunlight or sunbeds. If you are in
strong sunlight, always use a protective barrier product.
- Avoid using heated appliances for a couple of days. When applying any
sort of heat to the hair, use a styling aid to protect the hair.
- After shampooing and conditioning, treat your hair gently.
Squeeze
out excess
water with a towel and do not rub dry.
- Use the shampoo, conditioner and re-conditioner recommended by your stylist as this will prevent any unnecessary damage to the hair.
- Visit the salon regularly to maintain colour and remove any damaged ends.
If it is your first colour at the salon or you are having a complete change, we offer a colour check appointment where a member of the team will assess your colour and carry out a complimentary blow dry within 2 weeks of your colour service.
